Legal protection of utility model is granted by a registration with the Patent Office. The utility models should be new, industrially applicable, and should involve an inventive step.

Bojinov & Bojinov will consult you and proceed with the relevant actions before the Patent Office, involving searches, preparing, filing and registering utility model applications.

It is not possible to register as an utility model a biotechnological invention, a method, chemical compounds or their use.

The registration of the utility model is valid for four years, and may be renewed for two successive periods of three years each.

If your rights to the utility model have been infringed, we will reinstate justice and provide you with an effective protection before the Patent Office, the Sofia City Court, or the Regional Prosecutor’s Offices.
