Bulgaria Joined TMview with 79,000 Trade Marks
On December 13th, 2010 Bulgaria joined the TMview search service which is operated by OHIM. A total of 79,000 trademarks* that have been subject to publication and registration for the territory of Bulgaria were added to the available database of 4.7 million trademarks.
TMview will now provide a free access to trademark applications and registrations from the database of 12 intellectual property offices: Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Benelux, Portugal, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Slovenia and Slovakia, as well as the database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Office for Harmonization of the Internal Market (OHIM). The aim of TMview is eventually to cover all 27 EU Member States.
A new second version aiming to improve the usability of TMview will be available in the middle of 2011.
* Trademark applications that have not been subject to publication are not included.
